Vitebsk Water Treatment Equipment Plant is building iron removal stations in the Moscow region
UP "Polymerkonstruktsiya" Water Treatment Equipment Plant has implemented another project for the construction of an iron removal station in Russia. The constructed water intake, designated No. 16, will supply clean drinking water to four microdistricts of the Moscow region city of Krasnogorsk.
As reported to "Vitebskiye Vesti" at the enterprise, the official opening and launch of the non-pressure water treatment unit with a capacity of 8 thousand cubic meters per day took place in September. The design of the iron removal station and the building dimensions allow for its expansion to 13 thousand cubic meters per day. The technology developed by Vitebsk specialists is based on a non-reagent aeration method, which brings the initial water parameters to the levels required by sanitary rules and norms. In addition, the development by Vitebsk manufacturers minimizes operating costs due to the full automation of the technological process, minimal energy consumption, and a number of other design features of the equipment.
This is the second operational water treatment station in Krasnogorsk for "Polymerkonstruktsiya" (the first facility has been in operation since September 2014), and in the future, water treatment equipment of Vitebsk production will be installed at two more water intake facilities in this city. In total, over 15 years, the enterprise has implemented about 800 projects for water supply and wastewater disposal in all regions of Belarus and in 27 regions of Russia.
