Vitebskoblimushchestvo sold real estate worth more than Br400 million at auctions in small towns in March-April.

May 11, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. The Vitebsk Regional Territorial Fund of State Property "Vitebskoblimushchestvo" notes an increase in sales of unused real estate in small towns and rural areas of the region. This was reported in an interview with a BELTA correspondent by Larisa Shcheglova, head of the fund's auctions and competitions department. In March-April of the current year, unused state property objects were sold at auction for one basic unit in Chashniksky, Beshenkovichsky, and Dokshitsky districts, with the simultaneous sale of the right to conclude a land lease agreement. A mandatory condition for the sales was the creation of production and new jobs by the buyer. During the bidding, the cost of the auction items increased by an average of more than 1.5 times. The price of the sold objects with land lease in the three settlements amounted to over Br9.3 million. As Larisa Shcheglova noted, objects in small towns are not only sold for one basic unit. For example, a Bulgarian investor acquired an unused hotel building with utility rooms in Lepel for almost Br400 million, with an initial price of Br233 million. The buyer intends to create a comfortable hotel complex here. According to the interlocutor, the opportunity to sell unused real estate, even if the auction is declared invalid due to the participation of only one buyer, provided for by Decree No. 232 of May 5 "On Certain Issues of Conducting Auctions (Competitions)", will increase the possibilities for selling unused objects and expand the opportunities for investors to conduct business in small towns. During May-June, "Vitebskoblimushchestvo" will put up 21 real estate objects for auction with the right to lease a land plot, including three of them for one basic unit (one basic unit is currently Br35 thousand). -0-
