Vitebskoblimushchestvo sold a gas filling station at auction for the first time

A liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) filling station in Glubokoye was sold at an auction of the Vitebsk Regional Property Committee today for almost Br25,000.

Such a facility is being sold at the committee's auctions for the first time, specialists noted. Its seller was RUP Vitebskoblgaz. The lot was put up for auction for the sixth time since December 2017. The starting price was reduced by 80% to approximately Br23,800. Since only one participant showed interest, the auction was declared invalid, and the sole bidder agreed to purchase the facility at the starting price increased by 5%.

The lot includes a one-story specialized building with an area of almost 10 sq.m, built in 2007, with developed infrastructure for refueling vehicles, including a fuel dispenser, oil product storage tanks, a portable toilet, as well as the right to a 40-year lease of five land plots totaling 0.4 hectares. The LPG station is located at the 134th kilometer of the R3 highway Logoysk - Glubokoye - Latvian Republic border. The proceeds from the sale will go to the budget and Vitebskoblgaz.

In addition, following the auction on April 29, a one-story building of a former school in the village of Zaslavki, Lepel district, was sold at an auction with a starting price of 1 base value (Br27). The new owner plans to create an agro-ecotourism facility on the basis of the property. The surrounding nature is conducive to this, explained a representative of the buyer. The village is located near the large Uroda Lake with rich fish resources and three other smaller lakes. The school building with an area of about 190 sq.m was built in 1967.

According to the Vitebsk Regional Property Committee, 34 properties were sold at auctions organized by the committee in January-April, which is more than 20% higher than the result for the same period in 2019. Revenue from the sale of unused real estate amounted to Br474,300.
