Vitebsk milk, cheese, and Lepel ice cream were named the best by Belarusian consumers
The best sour cream, ice cream, and "Suluguni" cheese are made in the Vitebsk region, according to the participants of the autumn season of the "Champions of Taste" tasting competition.
The main event of the competition, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus, the Minsk Consumer Protection Society, and the editorial office of the magazine "Product.BY", are the tastings. In November, they took place in the largest hypermarkets of the capital, as well as among participants and guests of the "Prodexpo-2013" exhibition. As a result, the best food products were named according to Belarusian consumers.
OAO has truly gathered a whole harvest of victories.
"Moloko" of Vitebsk, which became the leader in many nominations. Consumers gave the highest rating to the enterprise for its "Graffiti" ice cream cone, sour cream with a fat content of 27%, pasteurized milk cocktail "Chocolate Delight", "Suluguni" cheese, and 4% scalded milk. The Grand Prix of the competition was also awarded to OJSC "Lepelsky Dairy Canned Food Plant" for ice cream with glaze and candied fruits, Tolochin branch of OJSC "Lepelsky Dairy Canned Food Plant" for "Groitser Mature" cheese, and OJSC "Vitebsk Meat Packing Plant" for "Furchetnaia Premium" polendvitsa.Products of OJSC were also awarded diplomas of various degrees.
