Vitebsk OJSC "Moloko" is establishing a joint venture in Kazakhstan
August 17, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. Open Joint Stock Company "Moloko" (Vitebsk) is establishing a joint venture in Kazakhstan for the production of dairy products, the first deputy general director of the Vitebsk Concern "Meat and Dairy Products" Valentina Vishnevskaya told a BELTA correspondent.
The enterprise will be established in the city of Uralsk. According to Valentina Vishnevskaya, the Vitebsk co-founder intends to supply modern equipment, technologies, as well as raw materials: skimmed milk powder and butter for the production of diverse and high-quality products. Glubokoye Condensed Milk Factory is also considering the possibility of creating a similar production facility. It has received a proposal from the Kazakh side.
The establishment of joint ventures is one of the forms of promoting products for export and consolidating positions in new markets, believes Valentina Vishnevskaya. The concern's enterprises are expanding the geography of their supplies. If until recently about 80% of dairy products were supplied to the Russian Federation, now exports are carried out to Syria, Poland, France, and Kazakhstan. Thanks to new markets, the concern's enterprises have managed to completely clear warehouses of butter and casein. Skimmed milk powder is in demand, it is readily purchased in France. Lepel, Vitebsk, Glubokoye, and Polotsk dairy plants have concluded contracts for the supply of skimmed milk powder to Iraq in the total volume of 3 thousand tons. Thanks to the development of new sales markets, in just two weeks of August, the concern's enterprises managed to reduce warehouse stocks by Br15 billion.
Vitebsk Concern "Meat and Dairy Products" is one of the largest associations in the meat and dairy industry of Belarus. It includes 8 dairy enterprises and 4 meat enterprises. For 6 months of the current year, the concern's enterprises produced products worth Br661.1 billion. The growth rate at comparable prices was 114.3%. Products worth $80 million were sold for export. Compared to the same period last year, the growth rate of export supplies has decreased. -0-
