Vitebsk OJSC "Banner of Industrialization" has established a production branch in the Orsha district

Vitebsk Open Joint Stock Company "Znamya Industrializatsii" has created and commissioned a production unit in the town of Baran, Orsha District, and intends to expand its branch network in other districts of the Vitebsk region in the future, as reported by **Andrei Shamshura, Director of the Garment Factory**.

The branch is located in a rented premises with an area of 200 sq.m, employing 14 seamstresses, and in the near future, it is planned to increase the staff to 40 specialists.

Regional units will be engaged in sewing individual elements of the knitwear range, which are constantly part of the factory's production portfolio. This will allow local specialists to quickly master the production specifics, achieve good labor productivity, and earn a stable salary, explained Andrei Shamshura.

Currently, the creation of similar units is being considered in several other districts. At the same time, partners of the Vitebsk factory are ready to provide equipment for such branches on a long-term lease basis. The decision to expand into the regions was made after the possibilities for increasing capacity at the main factory site in the regional center were exhausted.

– Today, our main outerwear production facility has four workshops with two sewing lines each, and four more lines have been created for the production of knitwear. Both directions are planned to be expanded by creating an additional section in each unit, but even this will not be enough, – noted **Andrei Shamshura**.

Increasing the enterprise's capacity will make it possible to improve production efficiency, enhance the economy, stabilize the combine's financial condition, and, consequently, ensure the material well-being of the work collective, as well as settle credit obligations.

The measures taken have already allowed in 2016 to operate without attracting external credit resources to finance production activities, which are funded solely by earned funds. Since the second half of the year, the enterprise has achieved good sales profitability (according to the results of August, this indicator was 12%),

is dynamically calculated on debt obligations to banks and intends to achieve profitable operations in 2017.

The Vitebsk factory "Znamya Industrializatsii" was founded in 1930, and in 1994, an open joint-stock company of the same name was established on the basis of its property complex. The enterprise is one of the largest manufacturers of men's and women's outerwear. More than 500 models are developed at the factory annually.
