The Vitebsk branch of Belarusian Railways has launched a safety campaign with schools located near the railway

UP "Vitebsk Branch of Belarusian Railway" has started holding events as part of the traditional preventive campaign held before school holidays for students of Vitebsk schools located in close proximity to the railway track. This was reported at the enterprise. From October 23 to November 1, Belarusian Railway is conducting the republican campaign "Children and Safety" in all regions of the country to prevent injuries.

The events include meetings, talks with children of different ages and their parents, and increased patrolling at railway facilities. The Vitebsk branch first organized an excursion to the locomotive depot for students of Secondary Schools No. 40 and 45 of the city (they are located near the tracks). Enterprise employees, while talking about their profession and daily work, did not forget to reiterate the rules of safe behavior at railway facilities. After all, it often happens that children from these schools violate these very rules.

During the remaining days of the campaign, employees of the Vitebsk branch, representatives of the primary organizations of BRSM and the trade union will visit kindergartens and schools, distribute flyers, stickers, and other products with reminders about safe behavior. Also, in particularly dangerous sections of the railway, in places of frequent unauthorized track crossings, vigilantes of the enterprise and employees of the Vitebsk Department of Internal Affairs on Transport will be on duty.
