Vitebsk enterprise "Polymerkonstruktsiya" increased exports by more than 5 times in January-September

November 17, Vitebsk / Sergey Kochetov - BELTA /. Vitebsk Unitary Enterprise "Polymerkonstruktsiya" increased its export of products and services by more than five times to Br2.4 billion in January-September of the current year, compared to the same period in 2009. This was reported to BELTA correspondent by the enterprise's director, Sergey Ivanov. The growth in export performance was ensured by the enterprise's increased activity in the Russian market. In 2010, "Polymerkonstruktsiya" implemented projects in seven Russian cities and towns. For example, the Belarusian manufacturer supplied and commissioned iron removal plants and water treatment systems in settlements of the Moscow, Leningrad, and Kaliningrad regions. The current year's order portfolio also includes a contract for the supply of an iron removal plant with a capacity of 6 thousand cubic meters per day to the Krasnodar water utility, which is part of the management company "Rosvodokanal." The Vitebsk enterprise won tender bids in conditions of fierce competition due to a comprehensive proposal to solve the problem of water purification in local operating conditions of water treatment equipment. The "Kristall-B" non-pressure automated iron removal plant developed at the enterprise is made of polymer materials, does not require the use of reagents for water purification, and also minimizes the customer's operating costs. The competitiveness of the enterprise's equipment and services is ensured by the scientific and technical center, which develops new technologies and technical solutions in the field of water treatment, noted Sergey Ivanov. The marketing research department, established this year, is actively engaged in promotion in foreign markets. The Vitebsk manufacturer has already signed contracts for the supply of iron removal plants in 2011 for settlements in the Kaliningrad, Smolensk, and Moscow regions, which are included in Russia's federal program "Clean Water." The enterprise's specialists will also participate in the development of more than 10 projects for the modernization of water treatment systems in other Russian regions. For instance, in the Stavropol Territory, "Polymerkonstruktsiya" will conduct pilot tests to select the optimal water purification technology, the results of which will form the basis for the design and construction of treatment facilities in the region's settlements. In the Tver Region, the construction of treatment facilities under the regional program "Housing" also envisages the use of Belarusian equipment. In the Belgorod, Ryazan regions, and in Mordovia, Vitebsk specialists provide expert support for work on improving design solutions and modernization programs for water supply systems in cities and rural settlements. Based on the results of 9 months, the enterprise's revenue amounted to Br12.8 billion, an increase of almost 50% compared to the same period in 2009. In January-September, "Polymerkonstruktsiya" supplied equipment for almost 30 iron removal plants of various types, which were commissioned in settlements of Belarus and Russia, and also supplied more than 20 pumping stations. Today, the enterprise is involved in projects for organizing a water supply system for a residential complex in the Braslav Lakes National Park, the urban settlement of Sharkovshchina, and settlements in the Vitebsk region. Unitary Enterprise "Polymerkonstruktsiya" specializes in the development of new technologies and technical solutions for the purification of water and wastewater at water supply and wastewater disposal facilities of settlements and industrial enterprises, and also produces local treatment facilities, pumping stations and iron removal plants, polymer tanks and containers for various needs. The enterprise includes a scientific and technical center, a design and engineering bureau, a water treatment equipment plant, installation and commissioning departments, as well as a drilling and well repair section.-0-
