Vitebsk UP "Polymerkonstruktsiya" will supply water tanks to Russian regions affected by fires
November 5, Vitebsk / Sergey Kotovets - BELTA/. Vitebsk unitary enterprise "Polymerkonstruktsiya" will supply polymer water tanks to Russian regions affected by fires in 2011, informed the head of the enterprise's marketing research department, Sergey Sabodin, to a BELTA correspondent.
The tanks are designed for storing drinking water, food and industrial liquids as part of deironing stations, fire-fighting supply systems, as well as other technological lines and processes. The Vitebsk enterprise has mastered the production of polymer products with a capacity of up to 63 cubic meters, which makes them convenient for transportation. If it is necessary to increase the capacity of the tank farm, it is possible to install and operate several units in parallel. This allows for providing water to a small settlement for a certain period of time in case of an emergency.
"Previously, there were often situations where Russian customers, when implementing projects for the installation of deironing stations, missed the opportunity to supply such tanks, and after the events of the past dry summer, the demand for our products has increased many times," noted Sergey Sabodin. Thus, in the third quarter, 3 fire tanks were supplied to the city of Klimovsk (Moscow region), and two tanks were produced for partners from the Kaluga region. Following the International Forum "Clean Water - 2010" held in Moscow at the end of October, the enterprise is completing negotiations on the supply of products to the Penza and Samara regions, and contracts with some other Russian regions are being processed. Vitebsk products are easy to install and simple to maintain, and the enterprise is ready to fulfill contractual obligations for the supply and commissioning of polymer tanks within a month, which was appreciated by the forum participants, added Sergey Sabodin.
Based on the results of 9 months, the enterprise's revenue amounted to Br12.8 billion, an increase of almost 50% compared to the same period in 2009. In January-September, "Polymerkonstruktsiya" supplied equipment for almost 30 deironing stations of various types, which were commissioned in settlements of Belarus and Russia, and also supplied more than 20 pumping stations.
Unitary enterprise "Polymerkonstruktsiya" specializes in the development of new technologies and technological solutions for the purification of water and wastewater at water supply and sewerage facilities of settlements and industrial enterprises, and also produces local treatment facilities, pumping stations and deironing stations, polymer tanks and containers for various needs. The enterprise includes a scientific and technical center, a design and engineering bureau, a water treatment equipment plant, installation and commissioning departments, as well as a well drilling and repair section. -0-
