Vitebsk UP "Polymerkonstruktsiya" implemented a project for the treatment of complex composition waters in Krasnodar
September 2, Vitebsk / Sergey Kotovets - BELTA /. Vitebsk Unitary Enterprise "Polymerkonstruktsiya" has implemented a unique project for treating complex composition water in Krasnodar, as reported to BELTA correspondent by Sergey Sabodin, Head of the enterprise's Marketing Research Department.
The Vitebsk manufacturer supplied and commissioned a de-ironing station with a capacity of 6 thousand cubic meters per day at the Krasnodar Vodokanal, which is part of the management company "Rosvodokanal". The uniqueness of the project lies in the fact that for the first time in Russia, it was possible to remove iron and manganese simultaneously from water supplied to the settlement's residents using a reagent-free method, while the initial content of iron and manganese exceeded the norms by 6 times. "Russian specialists were not fully convinced of the capabilities of Belarusian technologies and equipment, so we agreed that the final payment under the contract for the work performed would be made only after obtaining positive results from the examination of the purified water," noted Sergey Sabodin. The project cost amounted to about 60 million Russian rubles.
"Polymerkonstruktsiya" won the tender in a highly competitive environment due to its comprehensive proposal to solve the water treatment problem in the local operating conditions of water treatment equipment. The non-pressure automated de-ironing station "Kristall-B", developed at the enterprise, is made of polymer materials, does not require the use of reagents for water treatment, and also minimizes the customer's operating costs.
In addition, in the first half of the year, the enterprise expanded the geography of its export supplies of equipment and services through cooperation with the Republic of Bashkortostan. "This is now the easternmost region in Russia where our water treatment equipment will operate, and by being present in Bashkortostan, we hope to advance further east in Russia," noted Sergey Sabodin. Currently, the Vitebsk enterprise has 10 Russian regions where "Polymerkonstruktsiya" water treatment equipment is operating or is planned to be installed.
UP "Polymerkonstruktsiya" specializes in the development of new technologies and technological solutions for the treatment of water and wastewater at water supply and sewerage facilities for settlements and industrial enterprises, and also produces local treatment facilities, pumping stations and de-ironing stations, polymer tanks and containers for various needs. The enterprise includes a scientific and technical center, a design and engineering bureau, a water treatment equipment plant, installation and commissioning departments, as well as a drilling and well repair unit. -0-
