Vitebskhlebprom will produce rusks and bread for fitness nutrition

Vitebskhlebprom OJSC is preparing to launch several new products with significantly different calorie content onto the market – hearty galettes and light bread of the so-called fitness line, as well as to increase the production capacity of extruded bread crisps at the Polotsk bakery. In the context of intensifying competition, the enterprise's technologists are constantly working on the widest possible expansion of the product range, taking into account consumer preferences.

According to Mikhail Roga, General Director of the enterprise, a specialized line is being purchased for the production of galettes, and it is planned to master the production of this new product by the end of the year. Due to their high nutritional properties, galette cookies are popular in military and field catering.

The enterprise is also preparing to launch a new product line for healthy eating, which will be based on low-calorie bread made from natural grains with minimal sugar and additives. This topic is particularly relevant today, as evidenced by the sales dynamics of "Polotskiye" bread crisps, which are considered a dietary product.

Seven years ago, after mastering the production of this new product, the enterprise struggled to get it onto the shelves of retail chains, but today the production line at the Polotsk bakery, designed for 500 tons of products per year, is fully loaded. Therefore, Vitebskhlebprom is now acquiring a second specialized line, which will allow increasing the annual production volume of bread crisps by another 800 tons.
