Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus checked the progress of modernization at Vitebsk Monolit
During a working trip to Vitebsk on December 11, First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Vasily Matyushevsky highly praised the ongoing modernization at JSC "Vitebsk Radio Components Plant "Monolit", promising to assist in the implementation of the high-tech enterprise's promising plans.
Since 2012, the plant has been implementing a project to modernize the production of capacitors and thermistors with the participation of a Russian investor, to which over 3.8 million dollars have already been allocated. As a result, as noted by the director of "Monolit" Akif Gasymov, the enterprise has managed to make a breakthrough into the VI technological order, and the manufactured products allow not only to maintain but also to expand the presence of the Vitebsk manufacturer in the market of passive electronic components.
Vasily Matyushevsky became acquainted with the main areas of the plant's activities, became convinced of the scale of production renewal work, and lingered at the casting and assembly section for the group of packages – this is where the heart of the capacitor is assembled on the latest equipment of the Slovak company "KEKO Equipment".
— The enterprise makes a very good impression, it is a high level of technology and a classic example of import substitution, — the first deputy prime minister noted in an interview with journalists. — But the main thing is that there is a reasonable private initiative here, when the investor responsibly approaches the improvement not only of production, but also of living conditions for the team.
In parallel with the technical re-equipment, "Monolit" is mastering products technologically close to capacitors. Feed-through noise suppression filters are being developed, and the production of surge arresters and polymer insulators is being established. Since the enterprise is very closely tied to cooperation with Russia, a number of issues of promising development need to be resolved at the interstate level.
In addition to the visit to "Monolit", the first deputy prime minister held a reception for representatives of legal entities at the administration of the Pervomaisky district of the regional center.
