Vitebsk region in the Year of the Small Motherland

On September 13, 2018, a presentation of the third volume of the local history collection "Vitebsk Region" took place at the Vitebsk Regional Library. This collection is published by the V. Lenin Vitebsk Regional Library based on the results of international local history conferences.

The collection was first published in 2016. All volumes of the publication are made in the same style and have become a unique local history brand of the library, worthy of being placed on a shelf. In addition, all volumes of the collection are posted on the library's website to popularize local history.

The presentation of the collection was attended by employees of the V. Lenin Vitebsk Regional Library, the State Archive of the Vitebsk Region, the Vitebsk Regional Museum of Local Lore, VSU named after P.M. Masherov, and well-known local historians.

The tradition of publishing "Vitebsk Region" will be continued. In November of this year, the library will host another international scientific conference dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Vitebsk Region.
