"Vitstroytekmash" recognized for innovative activities in the republic

Vitebsk private manufacturing and trading enterprise "Vitstroytekhmash" became the winner of the National competition "Entrepreneur of the Year" in the nomination "Innovationally active business". And this success is not accidental: for several years now, Vitebsk machine builders have been noted for their innovative activities.

The director of the enterprise, which primarily produces lifting and transport and special equipment, Alexander Naberezhnev believes that success is largely determined by well-selected personnel. And the team here is not only professional but also young: the average age of employees is about 30 years.

Correspondents of "VV" visited a modern production workshop, as well as a real think tank – the design and technological department, where, according to its head Vladimir Ekimov, various areas are being developed simultaneously: tail lifts, crane-manipulator and multifunctional units, lifts, etc.

Innovation is the key to continuous production development at "Vitstroytekhmash". Currently, for example, the regional executive committee has allocated funds from the innovation fund for the purchase of welding equipment for metal structures and pipes, which were previously purchased abroad, and will now be produced in Vitebsk. Import substitution should lead to a reduction in the cost of production.
