Vladimir Penin congratulated Bishop Oleg Butkevich of the Vitebsk Diocese on Catholic Easter

The Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Vladimir Penin, congratulated all Christians of the Catholic confession on the Resurrection of Christ, and personally Bishop Oleg Butkevich of the Vitebsk Diocese, at the Cathedral of Jesus the Merciful in the regional center.

– Easter is a triumph that fills our souls with special joy, – emphasized Vladimir Petrovich. – It unites us all on the ideals of humanism, love for our neighbor. The state and the church have many common goals. And one of them is the moral education of society. The ideals that were written in the Gospel millennia ago are relevant today. Serving God is selfless love, dedicated work, in the name of maintaining peace. I congratulate you wholeheartedly on the holiday, I wish you peace, goodness, and well-being.

Bishop Oleg Butkevich, thanking for the congratulations, noted that Easter is one of the main holidays for all Christians.
