Vladimir Terentyev congratulated the best medical workers of the Verkhnedvinsk district on their professional holiday
At the Shaiterovo medical outpatient clinic and the Verkhnedvinsk Central District Hospital, the head of the region's deputy corps addressed healthcare workers with warm words of gratitude for their professionalism, kindness, and desire to help people, and presented them with flowers and gifts.
– The Day of Healthcare Workers is a special holiday. This event is a good reason to express words of gratitude to people who have chosen such a difficult and responsible, but very honorable and necessary profession for everyone – to protect the life and health of our citizens, – said Vladimir Terentyev. – My parents linked their lives to this important and noble profession. Therefore, I know that the phrase "medical duty" is not just words for you, but a way of life.
– Medicine in our country has always received close attention, but the last eighteen months have been special, – continued Vladimir Vladimirovich. – The coronavirus pandemic has become a real challenge and has increased the demands on medicine. Now we can confidently say that the healthcare system has responded to the challenge with dignity, ensuring the accessibility of medical care. Doctors have proven that they are ready to help at any moment, sparing no effort, energy, or health. We appreciate this and thank every healthcare worker for being able to endure.
The head of the deputy corps noted that the authorities are making every effort to allocate funds for additional payments to medical workers working in the "red zone" with COVID patients. According to him, investing money in healthcare is an investment in the health of the nation, and therefore, a huge contribution to economic development.
– The healthcare system in the district is functioning stably: social standards and target indicators of state programs are being met, and the material and technical base is being improved. Today, medical institutions in the district have everything necessary to provide qualified medical care, – said Elena Erdman, Chief Physician of the Healthcare Institution "Verkhnedvinsk Central District Hospital". – Despite the fact that since the beginning of 2020, the spread of coronavirus infection has changed the usual way of life, accessible and high-quality medical care has been ensured for every patient in the district. Vaccination against coronavirus infection is currently ongoing – over 3000 people have been vaccinated.
Vasily Shilov, Chairman of the Verkhnedvinsk District Executive Committee, is confident that the importance of the medical profession is hard to overestimate. Everyone involved in the medical field – doctors, nurses, heads of structural divisions – everyone who guards people's health – deserves words of appreciation and gratitude. This is because responsibility, the desire to help patients, and the ability to make the right decision in any situation remain unwavering for Verkhnedvinsk medics.
