Vladimir Terentyev took part in a dialogue platform in the Liozno district

The dialogue session was held at the House of Culture of the agro-town of Dobromysl. The discussion of the new draft Constitution was attended by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies, Vladimir Terentyev, the Head of the Main Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Marina Novitskaya, the district leadership, deputies, members of labor collectives, residents of the agro-town, and elders of the villages of the Liozno district.
– The Constitution is the Basic Law of our country, and discussing it and subsequently introducing amendments and changes is our future and the future of our children, – Vladimir Vladimirovich noted at the beginning of the dialogue. – In total, amendments and additions will affect 80 articles of the Constitution, 11 will be added, and only 2 articles will be excluded. The Constitution will consist of 156 articles and will retain all the best from the one adopted in March 1994.

The Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies dwelled in particular on the issue of preserving the social guarantees provided by the state to citizens, including traditional family values, support and development of youth, and much more. Vladimir Vladimirovich cited historical facts and examples of the development of situations in neighboring countries, which proved to the audience the need to consolidate the traditions and fundamental values of the Belarusian people at the legislative level.
Special attention was also paid to the new body of power – the All-Belarusian People's Assembly (BPA). Its main functions have deep roots, leading us to the Slavic veche. After all, democracy is the opportunity to make important decisions at the BPA, where the voice of the President will be equal to the voice of a simple employee or worker.
Residents of Dobromysl actively asked questions about the new draft Constitution, for example, they were interested in the possibility of nominating candidates for deputies – leaders of public associations, as well as issues related to life in the agro-town – road repairs and housing provision were raised.
– Our main task is to convey to everyone that the draft amendments and additions to the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus is our common decision, that the state values the participation and voice of every citizen in the upcoming referendum, – noted Vladimir Vladimirovich. – The Liozno district employs professionals who truly love their work and people. After all, the way leaders and elders convey information to the residents of villages and their employees is an example of quality work.
