Vladimir Terentyev held an on-site reception of citizens in the Yezherishchensky village council of the Gorodok district

Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies Vladimir Terentyev held an outreach reception for citizens in the Yezeryshchensky village council of the Horadok district.

Working groups, which included deputy chairmen of the district executive committee and heads of enterprises and organizations, visited the settlements of Surmino, Pankry, Rudnya, and Marchenki. During communication with villagers, attention was paid to life support issues: the work of the utility service, trade, communication, and the activities of social and medical workers. Residents raised questions of both a private and general nature. Some of them were clarified on the spot.

Thus, in Surmino, residents of houses on Spetshkolnaya Street were interested in the overhaul, which is planned by a decision of the district executive committee for 2023. An appeal was received regarding the change in the schedule of the regular bus route for the convenience of travel to the district center. In Pankry, villagers are concerned about interruptions in the street lighting system. This issue was immediately forwarded to the head of the Horadok RRES. A proposal was received to install gates at the civil cemetery in Yezeryshche. In the village of Marchenki, local residents are concerned about the issue of repairing rental housing. They received clarifications on this matter directly at the meeting. The conversation also touched upon the topics of the store's operation, road repairs, and the demolition of dilapidated housing. In Rudnya, road repairs from the village of Gukoly and in the direction of the village of Morozovo remain under the control of the authorities. According to the head of DRSU-106, all work is planned and will be carried out under favorable weather conditions.

The issue of firewood procurement for heating and the method of its delivery to personal plots is raised at meetings with the population not for the first time. Chairman of the Horadok District Executive Committee Petr Korobach gave instructions to the relevant services and pointed out that all agricultural organizations in the district can provide transport services to local residents.

A number of appeals to the leadership of the region and district concerned not only the personal problems of residents but also public interests. In particular, elder Zoya Shabeko asked to clarify the situation regarding the use of electricity for heating and hot water supply in residential buildings. Vladimir Terentyev took this issue under his personal control. He noted that this topic is relevant for improving the living conditions of people in settlements and will be addressed at all levels of government.

In Yazerishcha, much has been done in the social sphere in recent years: the school, kindergarten, House of Culture, and housing stock have been renovated, and retail outlets offer a sufficiently wide range of goods. "This is the gateway to Belarus, and we must welcome guests in a beautiful and comfortable village to live in," believes Zoya Shabeko.

It is noteworthy that many residents of the settlements actively expressed their position on the destabilization of the situation in the republic during the meetings. Everyone was united in the opinion that people need not rallies and strikes, but the opportunity to live and work in a peaceful country for the sake of their families and children.
