Vladimir Terentyev held an on-site reception of citizens in the Gorodok district

An outreach reception for citizens was held in the Bychiha rural council.

The head of the Vitebsk region's deputy corps, along with representatives of the district executive committee, met with residents of the villages of Malashenki, Gurki, Lakhi, and the agro-town of Bychiha. Dozens of people took the opportunity to communicate with the leaders of the region and district in a relaxed atmosphere (for example, at a mobile shop stop, in a library, or on the site of a former shop), ask questions of interest, and voice proposals for improving the standard of living in rural areas.

— The so-called rural council day, when top district officials visit small settlements to listen to villagers, is a very effective form of working with citizens. This allows us to resolve most of the emerging difficulties on the spot and promptly, without involving higher state structures in the process, — said Vladimir Terentyev. — In the Bychiha rural council, as in other corners of the Vitebsk region, people have traditionally been concerned about issues related to public utilities, roads, the removal of hazardous trees, and the delivery of firewood. One of the central topics was the work of consumer cooperatives, in particular, the closure of shops, the need to change mobile shop routes, and the high prices and assortment on the shelves.

23 people attended the outreach reception in the Bychiha rural council.
