Vladimir Terentyev: repair and construction work for "Dazhynki-2022" in Glubokoye is on schedule
Regarding the date of "Dazhynki-2022", the head of the deputy corps noted that it will be determined after the completion of this year's harvest campaign. "Traditionally, it is the last decade of September - the beginning of October. The earlier the regional festival of rural workers is held, the warmer the weather will be. Of course, we will monitor the progress of the harvest campaign. If we manage to hold "Dazhynki-2022" in Glubokoye in mid-September, we will be ready for it: all work is proceeding according to schedule and will be completed on time," emphasized Vladimir Terentyev.
Today, representatives of the regional executive committee and the regional council visited Glubokoye and assessed the progress of preparations for the festival. "Capital repairs are underway on nine residential buildings in the district center, and seven of them will be commissioned in June. Current repairs on two of the fourteen planned houses have been completed. Road repair work is actively underway, with a total of about 18 km of new road surface to be laid in Glubokoye. In addition, 3 km of sidewalks will be renovated. The deadline for the completion of this work is July," said the Deputy Chairman of the Glubokoye District Executive Committee, Andrei Golubev, to a BELTA correspondent.
He added that the main social facilities where major capital repair work will be carried out are the local sports and recreation complex and Secondary School No. 3, which will soon become a city gymnasium. The main sports facility of the district center is planned to be commissioned by July 1, and the school will be commissioned by the end of the month. The future gymnasium will undergo a complete renovation of its walls, interior finishing, as well as landscaping of the adjacent territory. Young residents of Glubokoye will start the new academic year in the renovated building.
Current repairs are also planned for the central district polyclinic, whose admission department has already been transformed. In total, more than 100 facilities in Glubokoye will acquire a new look and will delight not only the residents of the district, but also the guests of the autumn agrarian festival.
