The authorities are obliged and will take care of the citizens, but they should not abuse this attitude either - A. Tozik
August 17, Braslav / Sergey Kochetov - BELTA /. The government is obliged and will take care of citizens in our country, but people should not abuse such an attitude from the state. This opinion was expressed to journalists by Deputy Prime Minister Anatoly Tozik today after a reception of citizens on personal matters in Braslav, BELTA correspondent reports.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, there are often situations when the same citizens come to receptions of officials of various levels dozens of times, although it has already been established that they have no grounds for their claims. Sometimes, every fourth or fifth visitor comes to receptions on the principle of "I will get them anyway." In such situations, the authorities should act more decisively, believes Anatoly Tozik.
Summing up the reception in Braslav, Anatoly Tozik said that in most appeals, people raise reasonable issues that local authorities and the government need to pay attention to. For example, mothers with many children appealed for help in improving rural schools and building a sports hall. The problem of water supply was raised by residents of the village of Bogino. Due to insufficient funding, the construction of an artesian well remained unfinished in the village. More than 220 residents, including children, remain without water. Such problems must be solved without fail, even at the cost of saving financial resources on other facilities that do not require urgency, emphasized Anatoly Tozik. -0-
