The regional stage of the republican agricultural project "Master of the Village" will be held in Verkhnedvinsk on August 25, as reported by the Vitebsk Regional Committee of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union.

One of the stages of the competition program will be open debates "A Strong Family is the Future of Belarus!". During the discussion on the topic "Family is the Crystal of Society," families will share their own views on how to realize their creative potential, promote ideas aimed at developing family values and preserving traditions. The debates will take place in three stages: project presentation, exchange of questions and opinions, and a quiz. In the final, authoritative experts will decide which team was more convincing.

Recall that on July 1, 2015, the Belarusian Republican Youth Union announced the start of a new youth project "Open Debates 'Choose.by!'", the main goal of which is to unite the efforts of young men and women in socially significant activities for the benefit of society. In addition to debates, participants in the competition will traditionally have to go through a series of tests for agility, skill, strength, and demonstrate their creative potential.

The program includes contests: "Вітаем па-беларуску!" (family presents its "business card"); "Па дровы" (log sawing, chopping and stacking firewood); "Святочны воз" (husband harnesses a horse with a cart, and wife unharnesses it); "Вясковая эстафета" (running with a pot hook and a yoke, nail driving, etc.); "Спартыўная эстафета" (potato golf, roll the pumpkin, etc.); "Сялянскія прысмакі" (potato pancake making); "Выстава дасягненняў сямейнай гаспадаркі" (Exhibition of family farm achievements), etc. "This year, 'Lord of the Village' promises to continue the traditions of the competition, initiate new victories and achievements, and undoubtedly become a rich and exciting event of the year for rural youth," the organizers expressed their confidence.
