V. Makei: Prompt and high-quality resolution of people's problems is a sacred rule for officials
April 21, Minsk /Oksana Shikut - BELTA/. Prompt and high-quality resolution of people's problems should become a sacred rule for every civil servant. This was stated by the Head of the Belarus President's Administration, Vladimir Makei, today during a direct line with the population of Minsk on problematic issues related to the timing and quality of housing construction in the capital, according to a BELTA correspondent.
"If a person raises an issue, it must be resolved promptly, with high quality, and within the deadlines established by law. This should be a sacred rule for every civil servant. Then we will achieve the main goal of the state - improving people's quality of life," Vladimir Makei said.
The Head of the President's Administration emphasized that holding such direct lines should become a rule in the work of state bodies. Vladimir Makei stated that local leaders do not always respond promptly to the problematic issues of the population, which forces people to contact, among others, the President's Administration. He called this situation unacceptable. "The most important thing when holding direct lines with the population is not the recording, but the immediate resolution of the identified problems," emphasized the Head of the President's Administration.
Touching upon the work of unscrupulous developers who disrupt housing commissioning deadlines and allow construction defects, Vladimir Makei recalled the Head of State's position on this matter, voiced yesterday in the annual Address: such developers must rectify defects at their own expense or lose their license. "The requirements must be the strictest," emphasized Vladimir Makei. -0-
