This was announced today to journalists by the acting Deputy General Director of the RUE "Belenergo" Nina Grechikha, a BELTA correspondent reports. To implement a system of differentiated payment for electricity supply services by the population, if such a decision is made, extensive preparatory work must be carried out, the representative of RUE "Belenergo" emphasized. "We must create a database regarding registered consumers, regarding information exchange. This, of course, requires extensive work, as well as the refinement of the necessary documents that will form the basis for the introduction of these tariffs. In our opinion, it is simply unrealistic to introduce diff-tariffs this year," said Nina Grechikha. Whether diff-tariffs will be introduced and when will be known after a public discussion, which will take place in Belarus before November 1 this year. "Its results will be submitted to the government for discussion and final decision-making," said the representative of RUE "Belenergo." -0-
