Attention: fake! Destructive Telegram channels have linked photos of unsatisfactory cow housing conditions to an agricultural enterprise in the Dubrovno district

Destructive Telegram channels, which have recently lent a political coloring to news items, have resorted to new methods of manipulating the online audience. The focus has shifted to the economic side. One thing has remained unchanged: the dirtiest methods and tricks are still being used. The goal is one – to evoke emotions in readers. After all, when a person is emotional, they are ready to believe anything.

Thus, one of these Telegram channels featured frankly false and provocative photos depicting unsatisfactory conditions for keeping cows. The caption under the illustrations indicates the location: an agricultural enterprise in the Dubrovensky district. The source of the false information attributes this situation to the alleged inefficiency of the agroholdings and agricultural enterprises operating in the region that are part of their structure.

Dubrovensky District Executive Committee: "The photos being disseminated were not taken at agricultural organizations in the Dubrovensky district. The fake nature of the illustrations is reflected in the watering system, which is not used in the farms of the district."

The reform of the agro-industrial complex, which the Vitebsk region has been pursuing systematically and in stages, is precisely aimed at increasing the level of agricultural production. The creation of agro-industrial associations under Decree No. 70 "On the Development of the Agro-Industrial Complex of the Vitebsk Region" is a kind of reboot for the region's agricultural sector. At the head of such formations are 7 flagships. These are combines and plants with the highest revenue concentration and a complete production cycle: from field to shelf.

For example, eight agricultural organizations in the Dubrovensky district are part of the Orsha agro-industrial association. Each of them is focused on increasing agricultural production volumes to fully utilize the production capacities of processing enterprises. Thanks to the Decree, agricultural enterprises that previously had a number of long-standing financial problems, which, incidentally, was a deterrent to successful development, now have the opportunity to achieve the planned production indicators.

The positive is already evident

dynamics. Thus, the growth rate of gross product production for 2020 in agricultural organizations of the Dubrovno district was 102% compared to the 2019 level. For example, in the farms of OJSC "Yakubovo-Agro" the growth rate of production is 115%, OJSC "Geroi" – 109%, OJSC "Komanina" – 111%. Gross milk production reached 38 thousand tons. Milk yield per cow in OJSC "Yakubovo-Agro", KUSKhP named after Chernyakhovsky amounted to over 5 thousand kilograms. With such results, the livestock could not and cannot be kept in the conditions shown in the photos from the destructive Telegram channel.
