Во время отраслевых «Дожинок» энергетиков в Оршанском районе открыли роботизированную ферму
In the Orsha district, a seminar-meeting on the development of agricultural production of enterprises of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Belarus was held with the participation of Minister Viktor Karankevich, Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Nikolai Sherstnev, Chairman of the Orsha District Executive Committee Igor Isachenko, and other officials.

The results of the industry competition for the harvest of grain and leguminous crops "Dazhynki-2019" were also summarized. The main event of the meeting was the grand opening of a robotic dairy farm for 1210 head of cattle in the village of Staiky.

It was built within the framework of Presidential Decree No. 506 "On the Development of the Orsha District" in the shortest possible time. A cowshed for 460 head of cattle, three buildings for keeping 200 head of young cattle each, and a calf house for calves up to 2 months of age (a prophylactic ward for 150 head) were erected. The complex also includes an administrative and service building, a warehouse for concentrates, a hay storage facility, 6 silage trenches with a capacity of 2000 tons each, and a weighing station equipped with electronic scales.

The MTP is designed to use modern technologies in dairy cattle breeding: free-stall housing for cows, milking on robotic milking units with computer accounting and analysis of the quality and quantity of milk produced, identification of zootechnical and veterinary records, individual feeding of cows with concentrated feed depending on productivity, preparation and distribution using mobile mixers with rations balanced for all normalized nutrients.

As a result of the construction of this facility, the livestock density per 100 hectares of agricultural land in the branch will increase from 34 to 63 heads, including 25 cows. Milk production will increase from 4067 to 8000 tons. All milk will be sold as "extra" grade.

According to Pavel Fominov, director of the "Teplichny" branch of RUP "Vitebskenergo," the implementation of the investment project will allow the enterprise to annually sell an additional 3714.5 tons of milk, 105.1 tons of live-weight meat, and 199 heifers.

Participants of the seminar-meeting also visited energy-saving greenhouses, a reconstructed cannery, familiarized themselves with the operation of a new vegetable shock freezing line, as well as the branch's sewing shop and mechanical workshops.

During the summing up of the industry competitions for the harvest of grain and leguminous crops, the winners were awarded, and the best workers of the industry were recognized.
