The issue of compensating "Soviet" deposits in Belarus has not been removed from the agenda - N. Ermakova
March 21, Minsk / Anna Kot - BELTA /. The issue of compensating "Soviet" deposits in Belarus has not been removed from the agenda. This was stated by the Chairperson of the Board of the National Bank, Nadezhda Yermakova, during a direct line in the newspaper "Respublika", according to a BELTA correspondent.
"The republican budget for 2012 does not provide funds for the compensation of "Soviet" deposits. In the future, everything will depend on the development of the economic situation in the country. But the issue has not been removed from the agenda," Nadezhda Yermakova noted.
The issue of compensating 1990 bonds for consumer goods is also not removed from the agenda. However, it is not being considered at the moment. "In the situation that has developed in the economy last year, and in the one that is projected for the current year, there is no possibility to take such measures. But the issue has not been removed from the agenda. We hope that we will be able to return to it," said the head of the National Bank. -0-
