The issue of preserving architectural monuments was raised by local residents at a reception of citizens by Andriychenko in Glubokoye
– Thank you to everyone who responded to the request to transfer the former district court building to the parish of the Holy Trinity Church in Glubokoye, – noted **Father Nikolai Tikhonovich**. – But I came to the reception not only to express my gratitude, but also to discuss another important issue. The ancient church is an architectural monument, and it can rightfully be called the calling card of the district. The roof was last replaced half a century ago. Now the issue of its repair, at least cosmetic, has arisen.
Restoration of the ancient Ilyinskaya chapel in the city cemetery is also necessary. Parishioners are collecting money for repair work, but these funds are insufficient. It is necessary to conduct an inspection of the buildings and prepare design and estimate documentation. Vladimir Pavlovich noted that the solution to this issue should be carried out in accordance with the legislative framework and promised to help.
The Chairman of the District Executive Committee, Oleg Morkhat, who was present at the reception, assured the deputy that the residents of the district would not remain indifferent. Last year, for the construction of the Orthodox church in the name of the Archangel Michael, employees of enterprises and organizations, and parishioners donated 32 thousand rubles. Oleg Viktorovich is confident that people will agree to donate funds for the repair of shrines, regardless of their religious beliefs.
A similar issue concerns Orthodox priests as well, especially those who have parishes in rural areas. This year, a hurricane wind damaged the roof of a wooden church in the village of Verkhneye. Parishioners of the church, together with the rector, Priest Petr Dailidenok, began to eliminate the damage on their own. As a result, they received a fine.
– It's regrettable, as we acted with good intentions, trying to save the church from destruction, – emphasized **Archpriest Mikhail Isoitko, dean of the Glubokoye district**. – Of course, we understand the need for proper documentation and expertise. But where can we find the money? Rural parishes are small. It's extremely difficult to do all this with donations from villagers, who are mostly elderly people. If issues concerning architectural monuments of local significance were resolved at the district level, it would be much easier.
Vladimir Andreichenko promised to convey the clergyman's proposal to the Minister of Culture of Belarus, Yuri Bondar, emphasizing that the issue of preserving historical heritage requires special consideration.
And Maria Skurko from Glubokoye asked for help on behalf of Yanina Ivchik's mother. Their private house was built in the mid-1960s. The road has been re-graveled several times, resulting in the ditches along it being much higher than the land plot. Recently, the adjacent territory has been constantly flooded.
Oleg Varsha, Deputy Chairman of the District Executive Committee, showed Vladimir Pavlovich a diagram of the plot and explained how specialists from the housing and communal services enterprise would try to resolve this issue.
Oleg Lysyonok, a resident of the town and head of the international environmental public association "Nature and Us," told Vladimir Pavlovich about successful environmental projects, including those implemented within the framework of EU/UNDP projects.
For example, this year several ponds were cleaned in the Glubokoye district, 4 bridges were installed, recreation areas were created on two lakes, and a stage was built for the annual environmental festival in the agro-town of Udalo. The 74-year-old resident of Glubokoye wants similar projects to be implemented in all districts of the country.
During the reception, many other issues were also considered, including the connection of water supply to two villages, the reconstruction of the stadium at Secondary School No. 3 and the gymnasium, and the clarification of land plot boundaries for a resident of one of the villages.
Volodymyr Khmelevskyi from Hlybokaye, on behalf of labor veterans, thanked Volodymyr Pavlovych for the many years of assistance and support provided to the district.
