The board meeting program includes visits to social and cultural sites in Glubokoye district and group work.

The main issues for consideration at the board meeting were the results of the work of the ideological vertical of the region, as well as the development of state media and the perpetuation of the memory of the defenders of the Fatherland and victims of wars.

Speaking at the plenary session, Olga Bulavka, Deputy Head of the Department for Public Relations and Interaction with the Media of the Main Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the Regional Executive Committee, focused the attention of ideologists and media editors: “Today, innovative technologies are changing society, opening up great opportunities in the field of content creation and dissemination. To keep pace with the times, our main path is the development of informational potential. This can be achieved by improving media literacy, using new tools in the context of digitalization, increasing the level of media trust, and implementing joint efforts to ensure information security.”

Natalia Neusheva, chief specialist of the Main Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the Regional Executive Committee, reported that in 2021, work continued to perpetuate the memory of those killed in the defense of the Fatherland. 53 military burials were registered, more than three thousand names of fallen soldiers were newly identified, more than 5,200 names were engraved on memorial plaques, and more than 10,000 names were entered into the regional database "Book of Memory. Vitebsk Region".
Directions for perpetuating the memory of the Fatherland defenders were analyzed using the examples of Vitebsk and Dubrovno districts. It was noted that on the territory of the districts, repairs and improvements of the graves of those who died in wars are carried out, and new unrecorded military burials and burials of war victims are identified. Archival research and search work are being conducted. Attention is paid to the heroic and patriotic education of the younger generation.
Thus, in 2021 alone, the Vitebsk District Executive Committee organized the reburial of remains in burials registered with the state 6 times. Nine schools in Vitebsk district were awarded the titles of Heroes of the Soviet Union, and 18 pioneer detachments in educational institutions bear the names of Heroes of the Soviet Union.

In conclusion, Marina Novitskaya thanked the Glubokoe district for its hospitality and wished further success to all participants of the plenary session.
