Issues with the epidemic situation in the regions are under constant control of the Ministry of Health
The Ministry of Health's leadership will personally oversee regions on epidemic situation issues, Chairperson of the Council of the Republic Natalya Kochanova told reporters before a meeting with medical professionals in Vitebsk.
"This provides an opportunity to better control the situation and make necessary decisions quickly. Minister Vladimir Karanik is overseeing the Vitebsk region. Of course, he is also responsible for the entire healthcare system of the country. First Deputy Minister Dmitry Pinevich is responsible for Minsk, Deputy Minister Elena Bogdan is assigned to other regions where the epidemic situation is calmer," Natalya Kochanova said.
Today, a meeting between Chairperson of the Council of the Republic Natalya Kochanova and Healthcare Minister Vladimir Karanik with medical professionals is taking place in Vitebsk. They will discuss current issues in the work of healthcare institutions and the fight against coronavirus in the region.
