Issues of stimulating goods export will be discussed at a seminar in Vitebsk

April 21, Vitebsk / Sergey Kochetov - BELTA /. Issues of stimulating export of goods by domestic producers will be discussed at a republican seminar on customs legislation, which will be held on April 23-25 at the Vitebsk customs, the customs informed a BELTA correspondent. The main goal of the event, whose participants will include representatives of the State Customs Committee, customs authorities and RUP "Beltamožservis", is to develop measures to promote foreign economic activity and stimulate the export potential of domestic producers. During the event, it is planned to discuss problematic issues of customs clearance of goods, draft regulations aimed at simplifying customs clearance procedures for export operations. Specialists will consider the results of the implementation of electronic declaration of goods and ways to improve this tool, as well as measures aimed at reducing the time for customs clearance of goods, and improving the status of "a reliable participant in foreign economic activity". In honor of the 65th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus during the Great Patriotic War, seminar participants will lay flowers at the memorial to the liberator soldiers on Victory Square in Vitebsk. The seminar is organized by the State Customs Committee of Belarus. -0-
