Issues of elderly care will be discussed at the republican methodological council in Postavy, as reported by the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.

The meeting of the republican methodological council on improving social services and implementing innovative technologies of social work in social service institutions will be held on August 25 and will be dedicated to the topic of organizing elderly care in the territorial centers for social services of the population (TSSSON) of the Vitebsk region. For this purpose, participants of the event will familiarize themselves with the work of the round-the-clock and day care departments for the elderly in the urban settlement of Lyntupy and Postavy.

At the plenary session, their attention will be focused on issues of providing day care services in the residential care facilities (OKP), dementia prevention, and various aspects of scientific and methodological support for territorial centers. It is planned that the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection, Alexander Rumak, will take part in the council's work.
