Issues of economic proceedings were considered at the regional conference in Vitebsk

November 26, Vitebsk / Sergey Kochetov - BELTA /. Representatives of about 200 enterprises of the Vitebsk region took part today in the regional information and legal conference on topical issues of economic legal proceedings, the economic court of the Vitebsk region informed a BELTA correspondent. The focus of the event participants was on issues of recovering penalties and interest for non-fulfillment of contractual obligations by economic entities, and invalidation of transactions. Judges of the Supreme Economic Court of Belarus Oksana Mikhnyuk and Viktor Kurilo spoke to the heads and legal advisors. Also, during the conference, general issues of registration of economic entities, the procedure and problems of alienation of residential premises, and possible solutions were considered. Judges of the economic court of the Vitebsk region acquainted the conference participants with the practice of considering cases on verifying the legality of non-normative legal acts of local government and self-government bodies, and the actions (inaction) of their officials. The conference was organized by the regional branch of the Belarusian Union of Lawyers, the economic court of the Vitebsk region with the support of the main department of justice of the regional executive committee. -0-
