The possibility of creating a radio-electronic holding is being worked out in the Vitebsk region

May 7, Vitebsk / Sergey Kotovets - BELTA /. The possibility of creating a radio-electronic holding is being explored in the Vitebsk region. This was announced today by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Kosinets, during a direct line with the region's residents, according to a BELTA correspondent. The holding may include OJSC "Vityaz", OJSC "Design Bureau "Display", as well as other radio-electronic industry enterprises located in the region. The creation of an integrated structure will make it possible to more effectively use the scientific, technical, technological, and production potential of enterprises in the production of modern high-tech household appliances, civilian and dual-use goods. In addition, to improve the efficiency of OJSC "Vityaz", negotiations are underway on cooperation with a number of foreign companies, interaction with which will allow mastering the production of competitive products. "Perhaps today the TV plant needs to move away from the production of non-core products, for example, building materials, and concentrate its potential and resources on its main activity - the production of high-tech radio electronics," believes Alexander Kosinets. And in this regard, "Vityaz" can count on the support of the local authorities. The measures taken will help the enterprise to operate efficiently in 2012-2013. However, the head of the region emphasized that everything depends on the factory workers themselves, their ability and capacity to flexibly respond to the needs of the modern market. In total, during the direct line, which lasted more than four hours, Alexander Kosinets answered 50 calls from residents of the region. The main problems concerned housing and communal services. "It must be admitted that, on the whole, the housing and communal services in the region are in a neglected state," stated the governor. In this regard, he instructed to conduct an inventory of the state of housing and communal services in all districts and settlements, based on which a clear action plan should be developed to eliminate existing shortcomings, indicating specific deadlines for the work. "Activities in this direction should be completely transparent, it is necessary to bring all information to every resident of the region to remove uncertainty on issues that concern people," emphasized Alexander Kosinets. -0-
