Все младенцы Орши в этом году получат свидетельства рожденного в год 950-летия города
Every baby born this year in Orsha will receive a congratulatory certificate for being born in the year of the 950th anniversary of the city, said Yuri Tribushevsky, Chairman of the Board of the Orsha District Organization of the Belarusian Peace Foundation.

The initiative was launched today at the Orsha Maternity Hospital, where, according to tradition, women who became mothers on Orthodox Christmas were congratulated. "The district executive committee, together with representatives of the Orthodox Church - the Orsha deanery, and public organizations, congratulates mothers of children born on this holiday every year and presents gifts. This time, the innovation was congratulatory certificates from the chairman of the district executive committee and the district branch of the Belarusian Peace Foundation to those born in Orsha in the year of the 950th anniversary of the city. We will present similar commemorative documents to all newborns this year," explained Yuri Tribushevsky. The first recipients of the certificates were 4 boys and 6 girls born on the Christmas holidays of January 6-7. Also, employees of the city Palace of Culture prepared a mini-concert in the hospital's assembly hall for the happy mothers. They also received gift sets to ensure that the first months of life at home are provided with everything necessary for baby care.

"Lately, an average of 1.7 thousand babies are born annually at the Orsha Maternity Hospital. We expect to maintain this level in 2017. In half a century, in the year of Orsha's millennium, we believe that all recipients of these certificates will proudly show them to their own children and grandchildren," concluded Yuri Tribushevsky. In addition, the district organization of the BPF continues the peace initiative "Home is where the heart is," during which gifts are presented to children in various social institutions from December 20 to January 20. Today, within the framework of this initiative, the Orsha Maternity Hospital also received a gift - computer and office equipment for organizing work to promote healthy motherhood and childhood.
