All districts of the Vitebsk region have started sowing early spring grain crops
Mass sowing operations are underway in Dokshytsy, Lepel, Chashniki, Beshenkovichi, and Glubokoye districts. According to specialists' forecasts, with favorable weather conditions, all farms in the region will begin sowing spring grain crops, rapeseed, and flax in 2-3 days. The sowing is planned to be completed no later than May 1.
The late spring is hindering large-scale spring field work, forcing farmers to mobilize resources to complete the sowing campaign within a compressed timeframe. Under these conditions, special attention will be paid to monitoring compliance with technological work regulations.
Farms are ready for the start of sowing operations and are fully supplied with fertilizers, seeds, and fuel. Over 1,000 sowing units are ready to enter the fields of the region.
