More than 100 young men and women – qualified tractor drivers-machinists, mechanics, drivers, poultry farm operators, cooks – will start working in a month at the "Teplichny" branch of RUP "Vitebskenergo", OJSC "Mayak Vysokoye", "Alexandriyskoye", OJSC "Orekhovsky Flax Mill", etc. These enterprises are the best in their field.
– Young specialists should gain their first work experience only at advanced enterprises, – emphasized the head of the region. – Where there are decent conditions and wages. Today, we are building a comprehensive program for re-equipping agriculture. It is based on innovative approaches and long-term work.
Speaking about new approaches in the agro-industrial complex, Nikolai Sherstnev focused the graduates' attention on the competent combination of theory and practice.
– The industry is being re-equipped, – he said. – And this affects not only enterprises but also educational institutions – the forge of personnel. What is theory not supported by practice? By and large, nothing. Therefore, today we are learning to work in close conjunction with science. An example of this is the creation of technical centers at educational institutions with modern simulators, stands, and machines. The first such center is already being created at the Gorodok Vocational College of Agricultural Production, and the second will be here, in Vysokoye.
