Representatives of the regional election commission visited about 10% of polling stations in the Vitebsk region, the regional election commission reported.

Since the start of early voting, representatives of the regional election commission have visited about 80 polling stations in different districts of the region. There are no serious remarks regarding the organization of work.

"Observers are working at all polling stations, their number varies from 1 to 5 people. Along with national observers, foreign experts are also monitoring," the regional commission noted.

"Early voting in the region is proceeding calmly, citizen activity is approximately the same in all districts. In the region, over 11% of voters have cast their ballots in two days," the regional election commission reported. Currently, voting is taking place at 796 polling stations in the region. Directly on election day, October 11, another 52 will be added to them – they will be organized in sanatoriums, health resorts, rest homes, hospitals, and other healthcare organizations providing inpatient medical care. In the northern region, more than 870 thousand people are included in the voter lists.
