The mobile reception for labor law issues will be held on September 22 in Senno
September 14, Minsk /BELTA/. An outreach reception for citizens on labor legislation will be held on September 22 in Senno (Vitebsk region), the press secretary of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Belarus, Varvara Alexandrovich, told BELTA.
The reception will be conducted by Irina Shilyaeva, Deputy Director of the Department of State Labor Inspectorate of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection. The event will take place from 11:00 to 14:00 at the Senno District Executive Committee. Residents not only of Senno, but also of Chashniki and Beshenkovichi districts will be able to get answers to their questions regarding conflict situations at work, as well as assistance in resolving pressing problems.
Representatives of the Department of State Labor Inspectorate of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection will provide consultations for employees and employers on issues of contract employment, salary payment deadlines, vacations, hiring and dismissal, labor protection and payment, pension provision, and state targeted social assistance.
The initiative was launched in March 2007. During this time, about 2,000 people have attended the reception. The outreach reception with the participation of ministry specialists and media representatives has proven the high effectiveness of this form of work with citizens and its demand among the population. As practice shows, after the reception, the number of appeals from a given region noticeably decreases. By the way, most citizen appeals are resolved directly during the outreach reception.
This year, such events have already taken place in the Brest, Gomel, Grodno, Minsk, and Mogilev regions. -0-
