The mobile reception for labor law issues will be held today in Novopolotsk

March 24, Minsk /BelTA/. An outreach reception for citizens on labor law issues will be held today in Novopolotsk (Vitebsk region), BelTA was informed by the press secretary of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Belarus, Varvara Alexandrovich. The outreach reception, with the participation of representatives of the central office of the State Labor Inspectorate Department of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, will operate from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Novopolotsk City Executive Committee. Residents of Polotsk district and the cities of Polotsk and Novopolotsk who are concerned about issues related to conflict situations at work are invited. Each appeal received during the event is considered with the utmost attention and thoroughly processed – it is given a professional legal assessment, mechanisms for resolving the issues are determined, and citizens are provided with assistance in solving their problems. In addition, visitors to the outreach reception receive free consultations from specialists on issues of contract employment, salary payment deadlines, vacations, hiring and dismissal, labor protection and payment, as well as state support for families with children. "Outreach Reception-2011" is an effective dialogue platform for improving communication between citizens and republican government bodies," the press secretary noted. Recall that this joint project of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, the newspaper "Respublika" and the National State Television and Radio Company was launched in March 2007. Last year, the event was held in the Brest, Vitebsk, Gomel, Grodno, Minsk and Mogilev regions for residents of 19 districts and cities. The outreach reception with the participation of ministry specialists and media representatives has proven the high effectiveness of this form of work with citizens and its demand among the population. This is the third stage of the "Outreach Reception-2011" campaign: this year, outreach receptions were held on January 21 in Lyakhovichi (Brest region) and on February 18 in Mosty (Grodno region). -0-
