The 'Mobile Zoo' will tour schools and kindergartens in Vitebsk
September 4, Vitebsk / Sergey Kochetov - BELTA /. A new educational project called "Mobile Zoo" will be organized in the new academic year by the Vitebsk Regional Association for Extracurricular Work with Children and Adolescents, the deputy general director of the association, Nadezhda Egorova, told a BELTA correspondent.
In fact, "Mobile Zoo" is an educational and cognitive program that the creative team of the association will present in schools and kindergartens of the regional center. The performances will feature a magician and Dunno, as well as more than 10 real animals from the association's live corner: a rabbit, a parrot, a turtle, a hamster, and even a goldfish. The program is designed for 40 minutes, during which experienced teachers will tell children about animals, rules of care for them, feeding them, etc. in a playful way.
The main goal of the project is to convey information about our smaller brethren to the younger generation in an accessible and playful way, to foster love and careful attitude towards nature, and ecological culture.
The project presentation will take place within the framework of the regional Extracurricular Worker's Week, which starts on September 5 at the regional association. For 6 days, excursions to the creative laboratories of the association, game programs "Animal Name Bank", "I am an Ecologist", "It's Not Easy to Be an Agronomist", and master classes on making bouquets and crafts from natural materials will be organized for secondary school students. Schoolchildren will take part in a tea tasting at the phytobar. Teachers will present the clubs operating at the association.
In the new academic year, almost 680 clubs in 36 areas will operate at the regional association for extracurricular work. -0-
