Vyacheslav Durnov congratulated the graduates of Secondary School No. 45 in Vitebsk named after V. Margelov on the Last Bell holiday.
But, as has been said more than once at the celebration, there is no reason for sadness and grief. It's just time to say "Goodbye!" to school.
Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee Vyacheslav Durnov shared this exciting and touching moment with the graduates of Secondary School No. 45.
– Dear children, respected teachers, wonderful parents. I want to congratulate everyone on the "Last Bell" holiday, – said Vyacheslav Durnov. – This is an important milestone in everyone's life. A very exciting day. For me, the last bell rang 40 years ago, but I still remember that moment. And you, children, will never forget your school years. After all, with the friendships that you formed during this time, you will go through life. I know from my own experience, because I still meet with my classmates, and it's great! It's like we're diving back into that life.
Children, in the Year of Quality, I wish you to successfully pass the next stage of life – to pass exams, to get admitted. If something doesn't work out for someone right away, don't worry. After all, there are no straight and smooth roads – that's life. The main thing is to do your job well at each stage and for the people. And believe me, everything will work out for you. I wish that everything works out for you, that your parents, your teachers, and our beloved country are proud of you. Break a leg!
The school principal, Irina Loshakova, addressing the graduates, noted that she is 100 percent confident in each of them.
– I am sure that you will be able to cope with your emotions, fears, doubts, and will go through the stage of choosing a future profession and obtaining it with dignity. After all, you are the most talented, the most creative, the most beautiful, the smartest, the best. Because my deeply respected teachers have invested a part of their soul in you. Each teacher has passed on their knowledge to you, opened their heart, their soul. Children, cherish this! And remember your teachers, your native school. Know that we are always waiting for you and are happy to see you!
The correspondent of "VV" asked Vyacheslav Durnov why he came to Secondary School No. 45.
– Gymnasiums are under our supervision, they are not neglected. Therefore, I wanted to visit a regular school, – noted Vyacheslav Durnov. – The Pervomaisky District of Vitebsk is large, Secondary School No. 45 is also large, and the students here have good achievements, there are Olympiad winners, and potential medalists.
As Irina Loshakova noted, this year, out of 77 eleventh-grade graduates, 8 people are applying for gold medals, and one is applying for a silver medal. Out of 228 ninth-grade students, 18 students may receive a special certificate. According to the results of 2023, 92% of the graduates of Secondary School No. 45 entered universities.
