The exhibition-fair of Belarusian goods will be one of the events of Pskov City Day

July 23, Vitebsk / Sergey Kochetov - BELTA /. An exhibition-fair of Belarusian goods opened today in Pskov. More than 20 Belarusian enterprises are taking part in the event, which is part of the City Day celebrations held from July 23 to 26, the Vitebsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which is the organizer of the exhibition, informed a BELTA correspondent. Belarusian manufacturers will showcase a wide range of goods, from food products to light industry goods, and intend to expand their consumer audience in the border Russian region. The format of the exhibition-fair includes business meetings with potential Russian partners on organizing direct supplies of Belarusian goods to the Pskov region. This is the first time the Vitebsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry has organized such an event in Pskov, and it plans to hold it on a regular basis approximately once a quarter. This year, the branch has intensified its efforts to strengthen cooperation with the border regions of Russia and the Baltic countries. In the first half of the year, about a dozen exhibition events were organized in Smolensk and districts of St. Petersburg, where fairs have become a common feature of weekends. Currently, the issue of organizing a permanent exhibition-fair in the Northern Administrative Okrug of Moscow, with which the Vitebsk region has a cooperation agreement, is being worked out. -0-
