The exhibition-sale of products of educational institutions of the region "Autumn Round Dance" was held in Vitebsk
Despite the overcast weather and rain, the area near the Palace of Sports in Vitebsk was lively and crowded.
The trade stands of vocational and secondary specialized education institutions of the Vitebsk region attracted people for shopping. The range of products presented was indeed wide. The variety of goods in the trade tents was amazing. Not only agricultural products were presented, but also items made of wood, metal, and fabric, created by the students for their families, homes, and dachas. One could purchase fruit and berry products, honey, vegetables, seedlings, and flowers.
And what aromas filled the air: fresh pastries, draniki (potato pancakes), shashlik and sausages, hot bliny (pancakes), and ukha (fish soup). Some tents were so crowded it was hard to get through. For example, the queue for buns, smetanniki (sour cream cakes), and tvorozhniki (cottage cheese cakes) from the Vidzy State Vocational and Technical College did not end for two hours.
"Many exhibitions and fairs are held in the Vitebsk region. But this one always surprises. People come here from all over the city and suburbs because the product quality is excellent, and the price is reasonable. It's interesting to see what's new this time, what our teachers and students will surprise us with. Although it's raining today, there are as many people as always. Everyone found what they came for," said Vladimir Terentyev, Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies, who was among the first visitors to the exhibition-fair.
Dmitry Khoma, Head of the Main Department for Education of the Regional Executive Committee, is convinced that the exhibition-fair is, above all, a matter of prestige and an indicator of the institutions' activities. It is also good career guidance for promoting working professions. Here you can find more exclusive products made with soul and love.
Thus, masters of vocational training of the Vitebsk State Industrial-Technological College presented their exclusive products. They conducted master classes on painting, and the production of souvenir products (keychains, linen bags, blanks for foamy decorations, etc.).
You could try glazing and decorating gingerbread at a master class from the Orsha State College of Food Industry. In addition, it was impossible to pass by the shakshuka (Arabian scrambled eggs) prepared by this educational institution.
A children's wooden slide-house and a huge forged ship, made by students and vocational training masters of the Vitebsk State Technical College, attracted attention.
"Vosen'ski karagod" once again pleased the buyers. No one left the exhibition-sale empty-handed.
