Belarusian natives demonstrated high vocal skills at the "Vitebsk-2009" competition - P. Latushko

July 13, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. All participants of the XVIII International Pop Song Performers Contest "Vitebsk-2009" demonstrated a high level of performance skill. This opinion was expressed in a conversation with a BELTA correspondent by the Minister of Culture of Belarus Pavel Latushko. "The fierce competition for prize-winning places showed how the level of the contest participants has grown," he said. It is gratifying that the participants from Belarus demonstrated good vocal abilities. The minister particularly noted the strong Gomel singing school. (The winner of the Grand Prix of the current contest, Dmitry Danilenko, representing Russia, and Belarusian Andrey Kolosov, the second prize winner, are students of a Gomel teacher - BELTA's note). Pavel Latushko also noted the good organizational level of the pop song performers contest. -0-
