Challenges of the time, unity of the people: a series of conferences of the Liberal Democratic Party of Belarus has started in Vitebsk
"In strong unity towards modern challenges and threats" - with this theme, a series of conferences, which will be held across the country by the Liberal Democratic Party of Belarus, started in Vitebsk.
— We have two goals. The first is to tell people the truth, — said the Chairman of the LDPB, Deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus, Oleg Gaidukevich. — The second is preparation for the large-scale elections in 2024. This must be done now; I am convinced that all patriotic forces must unite. We have one country, and there are many challenges, so we shouldn't be dividing anything right now.
Belarus cannot be destroyed from the outside; the only way to destroy it is from within, noted Oleg Gaidukevich. To prevent this, unity is necessary.
Currently, given the situation around the country, most citizens are concerned about the questions: will there be a war, is there mobilization?
— There is no mobilization in the country. It is important for people to know that we are not going to attack anyone, and we will not do it, — Oleg Gaidukevich clarified. — Why are we strengthening the army? We are doing this to prevent war. The stronger you are, the greater the possibility of preventing war.
We have a clear task – the defense of our country and its borders. For this, we are strengthening them and deploying the Belarusian-Russian group of troops. It is also important to prevent a stab in the back of Russia. These are our allied obligations.
Regarding the current foreign economic situation, Oleg Gaidukevich said that the situation is not simple. But thanks to the President's policy, we have managed to create conditions for restructuring. An example of this is the established relations with far-arc countries, the Middle East, and Asia. Our right choice is an alliance with Russia. It is obvious that this is one of the promising sales markets.
