Bread is the foundation of all life. The district "Dazhynki" festival was celebrated in Hermanovichi, Sharkovshchina district.

Workers of the agro-industrial complex of the Sharkaushchyna district were honored in the agro-town of Hermanovichi.

Sunny and dry weather, which pleased us with its warmth for almost the entire August, allowed the Sharkaushchyna grain growers to harvest ripe grain from the fields within the most optimal timeframe. The culmination of this year's harvest was the district's "Dazhynki" (Harvest Festival), which took place on October 7 in the agro-town of Hermanovichi.

The organizers of the holiday made every effort to ensure that the celebration was held at a high level and was remembered by everyone who visited Hermanovichi on that day.

At three o'clock in the afternoon, a rally and a flower-laying ceremony took place at the monument in memory of fellow countrymen who died during the Great Patriotic War. In the center of the agro-town, a thematic courtyard "Harvest Estate" was operating, where representatives of agricultural enterprises of the region set up their hospitable courtyards from early morning. Nearby were the trade rows of the Postavy branch of the Vitebsk regional consumer society, where fresh bakery and confectionery products were purchased. Employees of the Radjukowski and Bildjuzhsky SDCs offered those who wished to participate in a master class on baking draniki on a well and taste delicious potato pancakes. Nearby, an exhibition of harvest loaves was held.
