Special words of thanks were addressed to domestic machine builders for preparing equipment that made it possible to minimize losses. Alexander Kosinets set the grain growers the task of minimizing losses during the harvest as much as possible, as well as making every effort to exceed last year's gross grain yield of 1 million 60 thousand tons. According to the Committee for Agriculture and Food of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, about 90% of the sown grain areas have been harvested to date, with an average yield of 33.3 centners per hectare.
