The Turetsky Choir arrived at the Slavianski Bazaar with ten girls

July 8, Vitebsk /Eduard Pivovar - BELTA/. "Turetsky Choir" arrived at the XX International Festival of Arts "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" with ten girls. The purely male ensemble was supplemented this time by participants of the art group "Soprano 10", a BELTA correspondent reports.

"Soprano 10" is a new project by the leader and founder of "Turetsky Choir" Mikhail Turetsky. He cited the reasons for the appearance of the female musical ensemble to journalists today during the "Star Hour": "Turetsky Choir" can perform any music, even female arias, the artist explained. - But there are compositions that sound inappropriate in a male performance, for example, "Chamomile Hid". There is a colossal repertoire that we cannot cover, so this new ensemble was created for this purpose."

150 pre-selected girls participated in the casting for "Soprano 10", and only 10 of them managed to join this project. However, as Mikhail Turetsky told a BELTA correspondent, he evaluated not only the vocal abilities of the applicants during the selection. "Of course, I wanted beautiful girls to be around," he admitted, adding that in addition to beauty and vocal skills, the singers must also possess outstanding intelligence.

With the appearance of the female part in Mikhail Turetsky's ensemble, the problem of office romances inevitably arose. The head reported that clear boundaries had to be established, otherwise, in his words, a third ensemble – a children's one – would inevitably emerge. At the same time, Mikhail Turetsky did not impose conditions on the girls accepted in show business: they are not forbidden by the terms of the contract to get married and have children.

"Turetsky Choir" demonstrated creative cooperation with "Soprano 10" on the stage of the Summer Amphitheater, presenting a program in Vitebsk dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the male ensemble's creation. And today, both art groups will take part in the grand opening ceremony of the XX Festival of Arts "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk".-0-
