August 13, Minsk / Tatyana Lobas - BELTA /. Belarusian farms are close to fulfilling the state order for food wheat: 442.6 thousand tons have been delivered for state needs, or 92% of the plan. This was reported to BELTA correspondent by the Department of Resources and Trade of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food's Grain Products Department.
Farms in the Mogilev region were the first to cope with the state order for wheat, fulfilling it by 110.2%, delivering 60.6 thousand tons against a target of 55 thousand tons. Today, the Minsk region has fulfilled its plan for the supply of food wheat, delivering 113.7 thousand tons for the state order against a plan of 110 thousand tons, thus exceeding the plan by 2.8%. The largest volume of wheat for the state order is to be supplied by agricultural organizations in the Grodno region - 132 thousand tons. So far, they have shipped 116 thousand tons, which is 88% of the plan. The Brest region has only shipped 66.4 thousand tons out of the planned 90 thousand tons of wheat, or 74%.
The situation with rye supplies is similar. Only the Mogilev region has fulfilled the state order. Farms in the Gomel region are closest to this, having coped with the task of supplying rye grain by 99%. This allowed this region to take second place in the republic as a whole in terms of fulfilling the state order: farms in the Gomel region coped with it by 89%. Agricultural organizations in the Minsk region are in third place today, having fulfilled the state order by 84%. They overtook the Grodno region, which was among the top three leaders just yesterday. In the Grodno region, the state order has been fulfilled by 82%. The state order for farms in the Brest region is "closed" at 74.2%, and for Vitebsk - at 61.4%.
In total, 814.5 thousand tons of grain have been received for the state order, which is 82.3% of the target. This includes 442.6 thousand tons of food wheat, 242.4 thousand tons of rye, and 129.5 thousand tons of other crops (barley, oats, etc.). The targets have been fulfilled by 92%, 81%, and 62.3%, respectively.
According to specialists, the slowdown in grain sales to the state is largely due to lower yields of grain crops compared to last year. In addition, due to the heat during the grain ripening period, shriveled, underdeveloped grains were formed, which affect the regulated indicators in food grain during acceptance into the state order (bulk density, grain impurities), therefore, more thorough processing of grain to the required conditions is required. Farms are selecting the best batches of grain for the state order and are taking all measures to cope with the established task in the near future.
In total, 1 million 419 thousand tons of grain have been received by enterprises of the grain products system. In addition to the state order, grain is accepted under direct contracts within the republic, from affiliated agricultural organizations, and to repay debts for previously allocated compound feeds. -0-
